The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for Somalia, Michael Keating, congratulates all Somalis on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.
“On behalf of the entire United Nations family in Somalia, I wish you a festive and peaceful Eid,” said SRSG Keating. “We join you in welcoming the sighting of the new moon that signals the end of the holy month of Ramadan. May the blessings of Eid bring families and friends together to celebrate in a spirit of goodwill and reconciliation.
