New York -The Secretary-General is appalled by the bombings yesterday in front of the Jazeera Hotel in Mogadishu. He expresses his heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed and wishes those injured a swift recovery.

New York - The members of the Security Council are appalled by yesterday's terrorist attacks in Mogadishu, for which Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility and which have caused numerous deaths and injuries.

Mogadishu – The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) for Somalia, Nicholas Kay, has once again called for a timely and credible political process that should lead to a new Puntland parliament this year and regional presidential elections on 8 January 2014.
