The Integrated Strategic Framework, which was signed in Mogadishu on 29 October 2014, is the first comprehensive plan of the United Nations in Somalia in over 20 years and marks a milestone in the partnership between Somalia and the UN. Spelling out the UN’s contribution to the implementation of the New Deal, the ISF is a clear expression of the UN’s commitment to support the Government and the Somali people in building a peaceful, stable and prosperous future.
