Mogadishu – A United Nations-contracted cargo plane today crashed while landing on an air-strip in El-Barde in Somalia’s South West State.

New York – The Secretary-General strongly condemns the attack on Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport area yesterday, which resulted in the death of a member of the Ugandan United Nations Guard Unit at the United Nations Compound.
