UN in Somalia wishes all Somalis a peaceful Ramadan
Mogadishu – As Somalia enters the Holy Month of Ramadan, the United Nations in Somalia extends its warmest wishes to all Somalis.
“The period ahead is a special time of prayer and reflection, as well as a time to show compassion for the most vulnerable members of society. On behalf of the United Nations family, I hope that Ramadan will be an opportunity for all communities in Somalia to strengthen their peaceful bonds with each other – Ramadan Mubarak, Ramadan Wanaagsan!” said the UN Secretary-General’s Deputy Special Representative for Somalia, Anita Kiki Gbeho.
The UN family in Somalia remains committed to supporting the Somali people and government in their quest for a peaceful and prosperous country.
