Jowhar - A new agreement seeking to streamline the justice and corrections systems in Somalia has been endorsed by the country’s Federal Government and Federal Member States.
On 24 January, the members of the Security Council were briefed by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia, Mr. Michael Keating and the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Ambassador Madeira on the situation in Somalia.
